On 31 December 2021, BYC quarterback Baylor Romney announced he was leaving their program. 

Romney was an in-depth chart of BYC quarterbacks throughout his career. Overall he started five games, completing 1800 yards, 14 touchdowns, and three interceptions. 

Romney will be remembered as a talented quarterback who could have left BYC earlier to start in another college. 

The leaving of Romney has put a major hit to BYC quarterback depth. He was a capable backup and proved his skills and ability in any situation. 

In his announcement, Romney has not clarified whether he will move to another college football or enter the transfer portal.

Baylor Romney’s exact net worth is not published. But according to several online sources, his estimated net worth is around $100 to $500k.  

When Baylor was competing for BYU, athletics could not earn a salary due to NCCA rules and regulations. 

But now, they have brought the Fair Play to Play Act rule in effect that allows players to earn from games, names, and likeness.
