Connick leads a superb cast that includes Taraji P. Henson as the ruthless Miss Hannigan, Jane Krakowski, Tituss Burgess as con-couple Rooster and Lily, and newcomer Celina Smith as orphan Annie from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

In NBC’s upcoming Christmas production of Annie Live!, Connick Jr. will play the bald millionaire alongside actress Taraji P. Henson as Miss Hannigan. Annie will be played by Celina Smith, a newcomer, in the December production.

With less than a month till the live musical performance, the Grammy winner recently shared his character photographs on Instagram.

Following the casting news in June, the renowned actor told People that he’s well-versed in Annie thanks to repeated viewings of the 1982 film adaptation with his three kids.
