Sunday Igboho aka Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo is a business magnate, activist, and philanthropist.
He gained media attention after his key role in the Modakeke-lfe communal crisis in 1997. He was a defendant of the Modakeke people.
Further, he is the chairman of Adeson International Business Concept Ltd and the Akoni Oodia of Yoruba. Formerly, he worked with former Governor, Rasheed Ladoja, and was one of his most trusted aides.
Before stepping into politics, Sunday worked as a motorcycle repairer. He later moved to the automobile business, where he sold cars and started Adeson business concept.
Besides, Sunday was born and raised in Igboho, Nigeria, on 10th October 1972. He is a Christian and also believes in Ifa, which is the religion of Yoruba land and Oodua.
Sunday is married and has two wives. Three of his children are professional footballers in Germany.

What Did Sunday Igboho Do- Why Was He Arrested By DSS?
Politician-philanthropist Sunday Igboho is reportedly arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic. He is detained by security operatives in the West African country.
Mr. Igboho was arrested after he attempted to flee Nigeria to evade arrest by Nigeria’s secret police. He had supposedly planned to escape from Nigeria through Cotonou and was heading to Germany.
However, he was caught by security operatives in Cotonou.
He was declared wanted following a midnight raid on his residence in the Soka area of Ibadan. They also arrested 12 of his supporters and killed two of them in a gun duel.

The news of Sunday Igboho’s arrest came after he gave an ultimatum to Fulani herdsman in Ibarapa to vacate the land.

Netizens have taken to Twitter to express their anger over his arrest. A Twitter user said Sunday’s arrest is unfair as all of his campaigns were civil.
Likewise, another user said the country is moving backward with Igboho’s arrest. They are also demanding his instant release from prison.
Further, the authorities will extradite Sunday on July 20 from the Benin Republic to Nigeria and are yet to go through further court proceedings. Also, his family has not released any statement regarding his arrest yet.
