Seventeen alleged members of three violent street gangs known collectively as YPF are charged in two indictments with conspiracy to commit murder, possession of weapons, and other related offenses.

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez and NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell announced on Tuesday.

The 118-count indictments, according to officials, include charges related to shootings that resulted in 14 victims, four of whom died as a result of their injuries.

The Brooklyn district attorney charged a trio of gangs with forming a strategic alliance and participating in more than a dozen shootings and four killings on Tuesday, announcing the arrest of 17 people.

One member of the criminal coalition is accused of participating in three murders over a three-month period when the suspect was only 16 years old.

The super gang was formed by the joining of three crews — Young and Wild and Hustling, Pistol Packing Pitkin, and Fort N—-as Only — to dominate East New York, Brownsville, and Fort Greene.

According to Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez, they called themselves YPF and hoped that they would gain greater geographic dominance and access to firearms by banding together.

Who Is Iquan Warlick?

Iquan Warlick is a 17-year-old teenager who was arrested for murder. 

On Tuesday, YPD officers dressed up, rolled out, and arrested 17 alleged violent gang members in a series of pre-dawn raids.

Officials warned the officers to be cautious, according to PIX11 News.

The alleged gang members were wanted in connection with more than a dozen shootings, some fatal.

Officers arrived at the Walt Whitman Houses in Fort Greene, where three of the most violent alleged offenders lived, and PIX11 News was there to cover it.

Giovanni Bennett, 17, is accused of firing a gun and injuring an innocent college student. In addition, Iquan Warlick and George Risher Jr. are accused of being the masterminds behind a mass shooting in Brooklyn.

Iquan Warlick Age- How Old Is He?

It’s unfortunate to declare the age of a murderer who is just a teenager. However, Iquan Warlick is only 17 years old and has committed the massive crime of murdering and taking away someone’s life. 

Warlick was charged with murder on Tuesday for the death of Wayne Lafontant, 23, who was shot and killed in September 2020 at a Fort Greene housing project.

He was an associate of the alleged shooter, Ziquan Thompson.

According to the indictment, Warlick also fatally shot Kendale Hamilton in August 2020 while Hamilton was “armed and pursuing Iquan Warlick.”

In that case, Warlick was charged with criminal possession of a weapon but not with murder.
