Furthermore, her body was found about a month later, on May 23, in 11th Avenue South in Phenix City.
In the investigation that ensued after her remains were found, her former boyfriend, Sylvester Davis, was the prime suspect.
He was later convicted guilty of Thomas’s murder and sentenced to life in prison, ineligible for release.
Furthermore, Davis had a record of criminal history involving Thomas.
Previously in their relationship, he took her phones on two different occasions in 2009.
Also, he resorted to physical violence against her and trespassed onto her property.
Thus, he was sent to jail for six months, followed by 14 years probation, on account of theft by taking, criminal trespass, traffic, and a drug offense.

Yamisha Thomas Husband: Was She Married?
Yamisha Thomas was speculated to be married to a husband.
However, there is no proof or details of her husband that can validate this information.
But, Yamisha was the mother of two daughters, currently aged 25 and 17 years old. They were named Quintina Brown and Quinta ‘Via Milford.

Yamisha Thomas’s body was discovered after a month she went missing.

She was murdered at the hand of her ex-boyfriend Sylvester Davis, who had a criminal record against her in the past.
According to reports, Davis’s acquaintance Jerry Wayne Foster admitted that Davis took him to Thomas’s body and asked his help to get rid of her body.
However, Foster refused. On his way back, he noticed a body wrapped in a sheet with her feet exposed.
Upon returning to the Macon County Jail, where he was to face unrelated felony charges, Foster informed the police authority about Thomas’s body.
Her body was then discovered in a shallow grave beneath a mattress lying on the ground.
Furthermore, the brutal murder of Yamisha Thomas was made into a documentary titled Fatal Attraction and was featured on TV One Network.
